What is it?
These rooms are easy-to-use, all-in-one, soundproof audio and video recording studios for capturing lectures, presentations, and video/audio content.
What's in the space?
- Blackmagic Design Micro Studio Camera 4K
- ikan Lyra LBX5 Bi-Color Soft Panel Half x 1 Studio and Field LED Light (x5)
- Sennheiser MKE 600 shotgun microphone
- Samsung 65” NU8000 UHD LED TV
How can I use it?
You can book the EZ Video Studio using our room reservation system and it is subject to the Study Room Policy. The studio may be booked for any of your video/audio production needs. It should not be reserved as a study space.
Once you’ve reserved the studio, make sure to come to the Area 49 Desk within 15 minutes of your booking's start time to avoid the cancellation of your reservation. We will let you into the room and answer any of your questions. You can book it for up to 3 hours at a time.
You’ll need a USB flash drive to use the room’s recording system. You can bring your own or check one out. If you bring your own flash drive it is recommended that you do a quick test video to make sure that it's working properly. Your drive will need to be reasonably new and have sufficient free space to record.
