AM Explorer
AM Explorer is a gateway to accessing millions of primary source documents about social and historical topics around the world. Their collections span from British newsreels to documents tracing our understanding of gender to food and drink throughout history. It’s a great way to learn about our understanding of the world over time, with authentic, original documents.
Birds of the World
I love birds. And we have an entire database dedicated to the birds of the world. Appropriately, it’s called Birds of the World. Learn about birds and see some lovely photos of every species of bird you can think of (I recommend the Himalayan monal)!
Films on Demand: PBS Collection
Sometimes I just want to watch an interesting documentary, so I appreciate our PBS Collection in Films on Demand.
That gives you access to a variety of episodes and clips from PBS to learn about science, history, and culture.
A great resource if you want to unwind with some TV and still learn something new!
